The Opportunity

We’re looking for enthusiastic Customer Service Officers with a passion for helping others to join our Y Leisure City team in Epping. With a strong background in customer-focused roles, you will be instrumental in building relationships and ensuring exceptional service for our members and clients. Your responsibilities will include addressing inquiries, managing memberships, coordinating bookings, and ensuring the smooth operation of the centre.

Some of the key duties of this role include:

·       Process customer bookings and enrolments for programs and services.

·       Provide great customer service in person and over the phone.

·       Follow up customer enquiries quickly and effectively.

·       Conduct tours and sales to prospective members.

·       Maintain a well presented, clean customer service area – knowing first impressions count.

This is a casual opportunity working approximately 12-15 hours per week.

What you’ll bring

·       A legal right to live and work in Australia

·       Current National police check (less than 6 months old) and employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)

·       Nationally recognised First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) (or willing to obtain)

·       International Police Check if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years.

·       Previous customer service experience in a similar role and a strong work ethic.

·       Leisure/sports centre experience is highly regarded but not essential.

·       Proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.

·       Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

·       Being reliable, responsible & punctual.

·       The ability to deal with patrons of all ages, cultures, and abilities.
