You identify as a First Nations Australian who is passionate about language, culture, and community and have an interest in learning and conserving the Awabakal language and culture. You enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with others, especially children and young people.
Applicants with connection to Awabakal Land or community are strongly encouraged to apply, though this is not a requirement.
You’ll also bring:
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
Cultural knowledge or connection to Country, and a willingness to learn more
Confidence speaking in front of groups and classrooms
Comfort engaging with children from early childhood through to high school
A respectful, positive, and community-focused attitude
Before starting, you will need a current driver's licence and the ability to obtain a Working with Children Check (NSW). We can support you through the WWCC process if needed.
