Non-ATAR pathway to Western Sydney University

Non-ATAR pathway to Western Sydney University

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pathway Entry Program is an alternative University Entry Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Applicants can gain entry to any undergraduate degree (with the exception of the Doctor of Medicine degree which has it's own Indigenous pathway process) at Western Sydney University by completing an entry assessment and be supported throughout your education journey.

Whether you are a current high school student looking for an early offer, completing a non-ATAR pathway or are unsure if your ATAR will be enough for your dream degree, OR if you are working, studying at TAFE or wishing to start your higher education journey, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pathway Entry Program is your pathway into Western Sydney University.

They accept applications throughout the year for the upcoming Assessment Days, or alternative dates as arranged.

I’m unsure if I should complete the Pathway Program?

The Pathway Entry Program can give you entry to your dream degree at Western. It’s recommended that you complete the assessments, if you are a current high school student looking for an early offer, completing a non-ATAR Pathway or are unsure if your ATAR score will be enough for your first preference course, OR if you are working, and you do not have an ATAR or equivalent TAFE qualifications.

How does it work?

You sit an entry assessment at one of the Assessment Days on campus or online. Successful completion of the entry assessment will give you entry to your chosen degree.
